Bishop Mitchell S. Ford, Pastor

Jeremiah 3:15 “And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding”, God has been faithful to his word.

Bishop Mitchell Ford, Pastor was born in Jesup, Georgia. He graduated from Wayne County High School in 1976. To further his education, he attended Waycross Ware Tech for consumer electronics. He relocated to Riverhead, New York. There he enlisted in the United States Navy for six years after serving seven years as a reservist for a total of thirteen years. He decided to dedicate his time and service to Grace Temple Church as Pastor. In 1989, he met and married his wonderful wife Diane Johnson, whom he really loves. He worked for Fairfax County for 5 years. He presently works for Potomac Electric Power Company in Washington, DC.

Pastor Ford experienced the new birth on March 3, 1981 and has been walking in his new regenerated life as a Christian soldier. He came up through the spiritual levels in his Christian experience as a Junior Deacon, Deacon, Minister, Assistant Pastor, Pastor and now Bishop.

His Christian education has been first and foremost. Three years of comprehensive study of the Bible and Mt. Calvary Bible Institute, Washington, DC, and graduated from Faith Bible College and Seminary with a Bachelor of Arts in Ministry. He is the Senior Pastor and Founder of Grace Temple Church. Later the name was changed to Citadel Worship Assembly, located in Woodbridge, Virginia.

The Lord blossom him into a man after God’s own heart. He has proven himself to be a man of high integrity, humble, uncompromising in the teaching of God’s Word and committed to lifting up a standard for the Lord. In addition, he flow in the spirit of excellence and desire that all the Lord will abundantly blessed be showered upon others.
