Elder Diane J. Ford, Co-Pastor

Elder Diane J. Ford, Co-Pastor was born and raised in Southern Virginia. She graduated from George Washington High School in 1974. She relocated to the Northern Virginia area in 1979, and began working in nursing at Arlington Hospital Center. In 1986, she accepted a position with the United States Postal Service.

In 1986, Co-Pastor Diane J. Ford gave her heart to the Lord, her life was never the same. In May 1989, she joined in Holy matrimony to Bishop Mitchell S. Ford (the man of her dreams for life). Together they joined the Greater Mt. Calvary Holy Church of America. She served in several ministries as an Usher, Missionary and the street Ministry. Co-Pastor Diane J. Ford furthered her education, attended the Greater Mt. Calvary Bible Institute and received an equivalent of an Associates Degree. She received her Bachelors Degree from Faith Bible College and Seminary. In 1991 she relocated to Prince William County, Virginia and served with local ministries until 1993.

On March 21, 2004 she was ordain as an Elder. Co-Pastor Ford is currently serving God as an Elder of Citadel Worship Assembly along with her husband Bishop Mitchell S. Ford, Pastor. God gave Elder Diane J. Ford a vision to begin “Women of Prayer on the Move”. She has responded to the vision from God and established the “Women of prayer on the Move” which reaches the women of prayer throughout Prince William County, Virginia; and the world. The Women of Prayer are women of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She continually strives to conform to his likeness and His image. She is endowed with gifts and abilities to perform good works for Him.

She is blessed to be blessing. She is fruitful in carrying out the Gospel signs and wonders follow her wherever she goes. She now operates in her God given authority and she receives her nourishment from the Word of God. She strives to please God, Him only at all times. She is aware of the mission placed before her from God. She can do all things through Christ, which strengthens her. She is a fully developed mature Christian woman, who stands naked and unashamed in God’s presence.
