Assistant Pastor Shawn M. Vaughn was born and raised in Manassas, VA to Peggy and Hiawatha Wooten, Jr. He is the oldest son of three children. Asst. Pastor Vaughn has always been a strong leader amongst his peers all through the years and has been advancing in the Kingdom of God since his teenage years. He graduated from Potomac Senior High School in Woodbridge, VA in 1999. Asst. PastorVaughn is currently employed with Navy Federal Credit Union in Vienna, VA and has been working there for over 10 years. During this time, he married his beautiful, intelligent wife Michelle Vaughn.
He has many responsibilities in the Ministry such as working with the Media Ministry, Cleaning Ministry, Security Ministry, Trustee Board, Armour Bearer, Jr. Deacon, Deacon, Youth Minister, Minister and now Assistant Pastor. He has walked beside Bishop Mitchell S. Ford, Overseer and Pastor Diane J. Ford since the age of 14. Assistant Pastor Vaughn has been teaching and preaching the Word of God since the age of sixteen.
In 2011 he received a certificate of completion from The Joint College of Bishops’ Congress from Beulah Heights University, Cleveland, Ohio. He is currently partnering with his Pastors to build Pastor’s Partnering Together Training Leaders in Leadership (PPTTLL).
Assistant Pastor Vaughn is a Christian man who continues his studying of the Word of God as he labors before the Lord and for the Ministry that God has placed in him. And will do so until the Lord Jesus Christ calls him home.
